HIREVUES Tips and Tricks (Pt.2)…
Love them or hate them—they’re the first key to success 🔑 in the interview process. AND often the most difficult for applicants.
Don’t miss actual interview opportunities because you froze up on screen ❌ and have that digital footprint haunt you forever (and it will) 👣 👻

Format: Roughly ~3 questions (mix of behavioral + technical). Often 30 sec-1 min prep time for each question & 1 minute to answer. Re-dos? Maybe one, but usually not. If offered… use your first try as practice or extra prep time.
Nail your responses by being succinct and direct, don’t get caught rambling & get cut off by the clock before you’ve fully answered or made your point.
Keep in mind: White/plain backgrounds are preferred. Suit up!🕴This is still an interview, albeit an awkward one…) Maintain consistent eye-contact with the camera as well as your composure—speak clearly and don’t rush your words.
